Upload an image of your venue, store, or lot to begin drawing capacity zones.
Create a free account to save your sites and floorplans privately — only you can see them, from any device. Demo mode works fine with no account at all.
No password to remember or leak — CAPACITY uses passkeys (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key) instead. Your device handles it.
Account
Your sites and floorplans save to your account automatically now — private to you, and available on any device you sign into. Your Verkada API key, if you've added one, is encrypted at rest and never sent back to a browser.
Signs them out everywhere and lets them register a new passkey under the same email — their sites, floorplans, and API key are untouched.
Only needed for Live mode. Demo mode works with none of this.
Stored only in this browser's local storage, sent to this Worker over TLS, never logged, never sent anywhere else.
Cameras, occupancy presets, and LPR zones all populate as dropdowns on each zone once a key is set here — Verkada just doesn't expose a way to list dashboards, so a dashboard's ID still has to come from Command once each (its name gets pulled in automatically), below.
Add every dashboard you use, once each — paste its ID and CAPACITY pulls the name straight from Command. Each zone's Widget picker then lets you choose from all of them instead of juggling one ID.
Capacity alerts post to a Helix event type called Capacity Alert with fields for zone name, type, current value, capacity/limit, and percent. Create it once per org.
Manage Sites & Floorplans
Rename inline. Deleting a site or a floorplan with nested children removes everything beneath it — you'll be asked to confirm.
Capacity Report
Peak occupancy and time spent over/near threshold, from real Live-mode data only — simulated demo readings are never recorded. Export before this window rolls off.
